Playground Borders, and Rubber Mulch products

How big a border do you need?
You can determine your linear foot requirement usuing this formula:
(Length + Width) x 2 = Linear Feet
To find your length and width add a 6' border to either SIDE of your playground equipment.
Now measure the height of the equipment and multiply it by two. This is your border to the front and back (as determined by the direction of travel of swings, slides and moving parts).
On a piece of graph paper draw your playground equipment and then add the border distances.
When you connect them all you'll have a four-sided shape around your playground equipment. Now you can measure the length and width and apply the formula.
Figuring out timbers and joints.
The secret of the Frame-N-Play System is our patented anchor joint and patented stacking joint along with our composite timbers. To figure out how many timbers and joints you need is easy:
Number of timbers needed:
Divide the # of linear feet by four and round up to the nearest whole number.
Number of joints needed:
You will need one anchored joint for each timber you purchase.
